🔧 Common Intune Troubleshooting Notes


1️⃣ Device Not Enrolling into Intune

👉 Intune Portal Path:

 Intune admin center → Devices → Enroll devices → Automatic enrollment

👉Checkpoints:

 ðŸ’  User has Intune license assigned

 ðŸ’ MDM authority is Microsoft Intune

 ðŸ’ MDM user scope is configured

 ðŸ’ Device is Azure AD joined / Hybrid joined

 ðŸ’ Review Company Portal enrollment errors

2️⃣ Application Deployment Failed / Pending

👉Intune Portal Path:

 Intune admin center → Apps → All apps → Select app → Device/User 

 install status.

👉Checkpoints:

 ðŸ’ App assigned to correct user/device group

 ðŸ’ Requirement rules (OS, architecture) are correct

 ðŸ’ Device compliance status is healthy

 ðŸ’ Check Intune Management Extension logs

 ðŸ’ Trigger manual Sync from Company Portal

3️⃣ Configuration Profile Not Applying

👉Intune Portal Path:

 Intune admin center → Devices → Configuration profiles → Select profile

👉Checkpoints:

💠No conflicting profiles

💠Assignment type (User vs Device) is correct

💠Device supports the policy CSP

💠Review Per-setting status

💠Sync device and reboot

4️⃣ Compliance Policy Showing Not Compliant

👉Intune Portal Path:

 Intune admin center → Devices → Compliance policies → Select policy

👉Checkpoints:

 ðŸ’ Identify exact failed compliance rule

 ðŸ’ Verify BitLocker, Secure Boot, OS version

 ðŸ’ Check grace period configuration

 ðŸ’ Confirm device ownership (Corporate vs Personal)

🚀 Windows Autopilot Troubleshooting Notes

5️⃣ Autopilot Deployment Fails at ESP

👉Intune Portal Path:

 Intune admin center → Devices → Windows → Windows enrollment → 

 Deployment profiles

👉Checkpoints:

 ðŸ’ Autopilot profile is correctly assigned

 ðŸ’ Device hardware hash uploaded

 ðŸ’ Required apps are marked as Required

 ðŸ’ Network, DNS, and Microsoft endpoints accessible

 ðŸ’ Review ESP blocking apps and timeout settings

6️⃣ Autopilot Profile Not Applying

👉Intune Portal Path:

 Intune admin center → Devices → Windows → Windows enrollment → 

 Devices

👉Checkpoints:

 ðŸ’ Device exists in Autopilot devices list

 ðŸ’ Correct deployment profile assigned

 ðŸ’ Group assignment completed before reset

 ðŸ’ Re-sync and re-deploy if needed
